Drifters Vacation Rental Co. was built from real experience — not theory.

After years of managing short-term rentals in Southwest Florida, we saw a pattern: property owners were frustrated. Homes weren’t performing the way they should. Communication felt distant. Revenue potential was being left on the table.

We knew there was a better way to manage vacation rentals in Naples, Bonita Springs, and Fort Myers — one that was hands-on, strategic, and deeply local.

So we built it.

Meet Patrick

Patrick brings over 8 years of short-term rental experience and deep Southwest Florida market knowledge to Drifters.

As a licensed real estate professional and investor, he understands both sides of the equation:

Kara is a respected Occupational Therapist by trade, North Naples business owner and the proud owner of The Little Gym of Naples, where she has built a thriving, community-centered business of her own.

As a fellow small business owner, she understands the dedication, discipline, and long-term vision it takes to build something meaningful. While she’s busy leading her own company, Patrick is also Kara’s number one supporter — offering one another insight, encouragement, and steady partnership as Drifters and The Little Gym continue to grow.

When she’s not at The Little Gym, you’ll likely find Kara at the Naples dog beach with their sweet Yellow Labrador Retriever, Harvey, or crushing a Burn Boot Camp workout.

How we roll

What do you charge?

We charge a simple commission on gross rental revenue, plus a small monthly technology fee. This covers marketing, dynamic pricing tools, guest messaging, and reporting systems. Our fees are designed to align with your success. When you earn more, we earn more.

How do you attract guests to my property?

We use professional photography, optimized listings, and advanced marketing strategies on platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, and direct booking sites. With over 8 years of experience, we know what works and what doesn’t. We understand which amenities matter most to guests, and we place a strong emphasis on the guest experience by ensuring every property is spotless, fully stocked, and welcoming, with excellent and timely communication throughout each stay. The result? More bookings, better reviews, and repeat guests.

What happens if something goes wrong during a guest's stay?

We’re on call 24/7 to handle any issues that arise. Whether it’s a maintenance request, lockout, or guest concern, we manage it quickly and professionally so you don’t have to.

What services are included in your management?

We handle everything from listing creation and marketing, to guest communication, dynamic pricing, cleaning coordination, and maintenance scheduling. Think of us as your property’s full-service operations team, ensuring a seamless experience for both you and your guests.

Do I need to provide furniture, linens, and supplies?

Yes, your property needs to be fully furnished and guest-ready. We’ll guide you on exactly what’s required to meet guest expectations. For owners looking to furnish or update their space, we partner with interior designers who specialize in short-term rentals and know what it takes to attract guests and boost revenue. As for supplies (like linens, paper goods, soaps, and coffee), you can either handle it yourself or opt into our supply management program, where we restock for you.

How do I know how my property is performing?

We provide regular reports showing your occupancy rates, revenue, guest reviews, and other key metrics. You’ll always have visibility into how your property is doing and confidence that it’s being managed to maximize its potential.
